Students from Std I to XII will be assessed on the basis of the New System of Assessment and Examination by CBSE.
STD I - VIII
The session is divided into two terms, Term – I from April to September and Term – II from October to March. Students will be assessed separately in both the terms and marks will not be aggregated at the end of the session .Each term will have two unit tests, each out of 40 marks and one Half yearly or Annual examination (out of 80 marks each). The average of unit test marks aggregated to 10% will be added in the internal assessment. There will be two subject enrichment activities for every subject in both the terms, marks out of 5 will be awarded and average of them will be added in the internal assessment .Note books will be verified on a regular basis and marks will be awarded out of 5 and the same will be added in the internal assessment. Computer and General Knowledge will assessed through one each tests conducted during Half Yearly and Annual Examinations. The total marks obtained out of 100 in each term will carry 80 marks of Half Yearly or Annual Examination and 20 marks of internal assessment. Students will be graded in a 8 point grading scale for scholastic areas and 3 point grading scale for co-scholastic areas.
Few chapters from term I will be included in the portion for annual examination for Std VI –VIII.

STD IX -X
Students will have to appear Annual Examination covering the entire syllabus at the end of the session & in order to pass they need to secure minimum 33% marks separately in Annual Examination & Internal Assessment. The Academic Session will comprise of 4 Unit Tests (Out of 40) & One Half Yearly Examination (Out of 80).The average of the Best 2 marks aggregated to 10% will be added in the Internal Assessment . There will be two subject enrichment activities for every subject in both the terms, marks out of 5 will be awarded and average of them will be added in the internal assessment .Note books will be verified on a regular basis and marks will be awarded out of 5 and the same will be added in the internal assessment. The total marks obtained out of 100 will carry 80 marks of Annual Examination and 20 marks of Internal Assessment. Students will be graded in an 8 point grading scale for scholastic areas and 3 point grading scale for co-scholastic areas.
STD XI-XII
Students will have to appear Annual Examination covering the entire syllabus at the end of the session & in order to pass they need to secure minimum 33% marks separately in Theory & Practical or Project in the Annual Examination. The Academic Session will comprise of 4 Unit Tests & One Half Yearly Examination& One Annual Examination.
